Celtic knot stuff

This was done quickly, that's probably with it's not very regular in shape. Oh well, even when I spent hours it's not much better :]

(Oh, and to the guy from hannalovinda.blogspot: I have no problem with you republishing some of my stuff, but at least keep the "This work by tattoos-and-doodles..." untouched.  Rebloging it does not make it a "work by hannalovinda". Thank you :p )

Mjölnir

So... I wanted to do something simple, with just flat colours, no shading. Of course, things never happen exactly how I want them ^^'.
Mjölnir / Thor's Hammer

On a side note, look at this, these are some great hammer pendants (I especially like the one on top, it's way more "nordic" than my version) http://varglya.blogspot.com/2010/07/recent-works-more-carvings.html

Celtic key

A golden celtic key. I had fun doing the knotwork pattern on it.

Celtic armband

A simple celtic pattern that can be repeated. Dotwork again, not sure it's the best type of shading but it's perfect to do while listening to podcasts.

Celtic knotworks design

A Celtic design, with a kind of stone and hollow/engraved effect.

For those who followed the trail of links to my flickr account, this image may remind them of that one:
Triskel, tattoo-style-inspired - that's the same kind of style.

Horns of Odin

This is my second attempt at a design based on the triple horns of Odin, except this time I didn't mix a triskel in it. :p
And also, the date (winter solstice in a few days) kinda fit for this design, I guess. Happy Yule in advance.

Celtic circle - Irish shamrock?

A shamrock, Based on the same pattern as the previous celtic armband tattoo design.

Actually, the shamrock shape wasn't even planed, it just came out this way. At first I thought it looked like hearts, but I'm a bit tired of hearts right now, so the green shamrock shape seemed a better option.
While drawing this I couldn't help but think "it's be easier with vector on the computer", but damn, I want to train with *pencils*, and I'll do. :p

Celtic armband

Darn, I should try to update more!
Here's a little bit of Celtic (?) knotwork, a band with a repeatable pattern.

Celtic hearts, knotworks tattoo designs

Moving the "old" tattoo designs from blog to blog... (These ones too have my old blog watermark, although it's barely visible, heh).
This time, some knotwork thingies. I love knotwork, especially the celtic knotworks kind.

A weird triquetra - well, a triple triquetra (actually made with 2 closed lines)

And hearts. Just because.
